Jaegap is a founding principal of Studio JCI, a Toronto-based architecture firm designing and building over eight million square feet of residential projects annually. Recognized for his leadership as an architect, Jaegap is an advocate for bolstering timeless projects that contribute to the social, economic, and cultural fabric of the built environment.

With more than 25 years of experience in residential design, Jaegap Chung's innovation and project leadership encompass various scales, neighbourhoods, and municipalities. Notable projects include an award-winning adaptive reuse of a 1980s mid-rise office building and a series of purpose-built co-living rental developments. Jaegap has also designed large-scale projects featuring purpose-built rental and condominium tenures for multi-tower, multi-phased developments, as well as downtown rejuvenation masterplans and transit-oriented communities for the province.

While Jaegap has gained much recognition for his design work, his true passion is society-shaping, residential innovation that prioritizes community-building and future-proofed sustainability, that support the design and construction of multiplexes and mid-rises, helping restore the city’s missing middle.
