Robin McKenna received his Bachelor of Architectural Science from Ryerson University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto. His holistic approach to the practice of architecture is attained through his unique experience working with non-profit organizations, his professional knowledge gained through architecture firms in both Ontario and Dubai, and his hands-on participation in the field of construction and carpentry. Robin strives to integrate his keen sense of proportion in design and materiality with sound building science, sustainable design, and efficiency to successfully deliver well-executed projects.

Providing a high-level service to clients, Robin is eager to use his problem-solving skills in all stages of design development to create site-specific place-making opportunities. No matter the scale, he ensures each project benefits all parties involved – from developers and stakeholders to the residents who use the property.

Since joining JCI, he has led numerous local projects ranging in scale from single-family homes to multi-unit residential developments and community master planning. Working collaboratively with internal and external team members, Robin’s extensive experience in management assures a successful and time efficient project outlined from concept to occupancy.
