Nanchen has a versatile skillset and international perspective to her approach. Graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture in 2016 at North China University of Technology, Nanchen would continue to develop her skills after completing her Master of Science in Urban Planning in New York City at the prestige Columbia University.

Prior to joining Studio JCI, Nanchen had over 2 years of experience, contributing to projects in the United States, specifically Washington DC and New York. It was during this time that Nanchen had the opportunity to work on a considerable number of projects, consisting of hospitals and multi-family units.

At Studio JCI, Nanchen continues to expand her knowledge of Architecture and urban analytics. Her portfolio continues to grow, taking on projects of different scopes, including office spaces and urban design.
