Diego obtained his Bachelor of Architecture from the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, one of the top architecture faculty in Colombia, and one of the best in South America. His vision of architecture is ‘design as a tool able to provide solutions for people to live better’. Thus began a journey of experience, growth, and self-discovery that would see him work alongside some of the finest designers in the country.

With the progressive growth of remote working, Diego was one of the first Colombian architectural designers that joined Studio JCI. His contributions to JCI have helped to expand the social and cultural environment of the firm and added values to various stages of projects.

His past work experience started with freelance office-design jobs, Diego quickly moved to neighboring city Medellín, where he worked at Javier Vera Arquitectos, leading Revit implementation on medium to large-scale projects. He joined the renowned high-end product design studio, Hechizoo to direct several of the firm’s interior design endeavors.
