Andrés holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogotá, Colombia, and has also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Conservation and Management of Built Heritage in Cartagena, Colombia. With a deep passion for architecture, Andrés has expertise in three key areas: architectural design, built heritage preservation, and spatial experience. These interconnected interests have given him diverse experiences in architecture, including national and international competitions, an internship at Colombia's Ministry of Culture, construction site residencies in Bogotá, heritage building inventories, attendance at a Barcelona congress, design workshops in Italy, and projects like adaptive reuses, sustainable co-livings, and single-family houses at Plan:b Architects in Medellín.

Furthermore, his podcast "Arquitectura a Pata" reflects his qualitative investigations. Here, he merges his passion for architecture with his love for learning and travel, delving into cultural aspects. This journey has brought him to Studio JCI, where he aims to add value and where he can connect his interests, all while sharing his expanding knowledge with listeners.
